The PTA didn't do all these events in the past, why now?

Parents have shown interest in creating new events to build the community at Baker.  Our goal is to create a school where  you feel comfortable and feel safe sending your kids. Middle school is not the time to check out as a parent. This a crucial time in your child's development when it's important to stay involved in school and your know who their friends are.

Do I need to buy a gym uniform?

​

No, but you do need a gray shirt and navy shorts from Walmart or anywhere.  Label the inside's with your child's name in case they are lost or stolen.  The staff also want to have the student name on the back of the t-shirt.  It's easier to call a student by name in a big crowd if they are all labeled and easier to find if lost.

You can write it on yourself or vinyl it on if you have the technology to do so like with a Cricut or Silhouette.

For winter sweats are needed of any design and color.

Where do I hand in SSL forms?

​

All SSL forms are handed in the counseling office.  Please make sure it is completely filled out and with complete sentences to get credit.  It is also excellent practice to photocopy and keep a record of all hours submitted in case of discrepancy.
