In spring of 2020 the PTA Fashion Show will return!

With the collaboration of parents, students, staff this will hopefully be another night to enable students to showcase their personal style and abilities to create a fun night that raises money for our school.

Come January we will be recruiting students interested:

•  modeling

•  cooking

• serving meals

• decorations

• clean up and tear down

Right now we are searching for parents to help manage a section of the event:

• silent auction (solicit businesses for donations, arrange all items for auction and man auction sales during event)

• food coordination (baking with students afterschool in FACS room to prep dessert buffet, over see students in serving of meals on night of event, coordinate with local restaurant to provide meal

• Registration (sell tickets prior to event and at the event)

• Fashion Consultant - (solicit businesses for loaner items to be used in the show)

The spring 2017 Color Me Spring Fashion show was a great success.  The event had over 20 models of students, staff and parents.  The models showcased their own outfits, as well as items on loan from Banana Republic, Nike, Lularue and Damascus Shoppes.

Students also helped make the paper flowers for decorations during lunches in the media center with Mrs. Walker and members of the PTA. Students also helped baked the delicious goodies for the dessert buffet after school under the direction of Mrs. Hughes the FACS teacher and Mrs. Fleischer from the PTA. These students also served the meal from Carrabbas.

With over 40 items on the silent auction and entrance charge the PTA brought in over $1000 on the evening to support the Baker programs.

But more importantly it gave the kids a fun activity to do while supporting their school and giving a fun family event for our Baker families to attend.
